Parish Council Meetings

Full council meets bi-monthly, usually on the second Monday of the month at 7:00pm in the Tarporley Baptist Church. All meetings are open to the public, and there is a public participation slot at the start of every meeting.

Agendas are published at least three working days before each meeting, in line with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960. Draft minutes are published asap after meeting, then they are approved at the next meeting. Approved minutes are published once they have been signed off at the following meeting.

Coming to a meeting

You don’t need to register or let us know in advance — just come along. Meetings start with a short public participation slot during which any resident can raise a question or comment. After that, the council moves through its agenda and members of the public are welcome to stay and listen.

If you’d like to raise something more substantial, it helps to email the clerk in advance so the council can have any relevant information to hand. The clerk’s contact details are on the Contact page.
