Welcome to Tarporley Parish Council website.
The Parish Council is the tier of Local Government closest to the people and is a corporate body, a legal entity. There are twelve council seats, with council elections taking place every four years. The next tier of Government for Tarporley is Cheshire West and Chester Council
The Parish Council is an elected body that plays a vital part in representing the interests of the communities it serves, through improvements within the local environment and the well-being of its parishioners.
Parish Council meetings are held on the 2nd Monday bi-monthly (January, March May, July September, and November) at 7 pm at Tarporley Baptist and Methodist Church, School Room. The public is welcome to meetings or alternatively please contact us via the Clerk to raise any issues, concerns, or ideas for village-wide projects.
